This is one of the first recipes I ever tried to make, in my mother’s kitchen many years ago.  It has only 4 ingredients (three of them canned!) and is the easiest recipe I know.  This makes a good and piping hot side dish for most any traditional meal. Ingredients: 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup 10 ¾ ounces (I use Campbell’s) ¼ cup milk 2 cans French style green beans 14.4 ounces each 1 can 2.8 ounces French fried onions (I use French’s) Mix the soup, milk and green beans in a 1 ½ quart baking dish.  Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes, or until the edges of the casserole are bubbling well.  Then sprinkle the onions on top of the casserole and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the onions brown on top, then serve.  Watch the onions carefully so that they do not burn.  The onions are my favorite part of this dish and I am always tempted to just crape them off and eat them all, leaving the rest of the casserole! You can try fresh cut green beans for a fresh twist to this recipe.
